World of Relics

With their souls putrefied by scorching light, the Gods and Mortals are no more. What remained are the Objects and the Relics, formerly with no will, now bestowed with the souls and minds of their deceased masters. Strong in mind and power, Relics are forever, while the Objects, weak and short-lived, will face hardship in the Game of Life.

World of Relics is a personal worldbuilding project about living objects surviving in a world of war and magic, reborn from the ashes of left behind by the Inversion Event.
The project follows two stories set in WOR: Rise of Relics and the Mundane Realm. Both of which follows the adventures of objectkind and the last dying embers of humanity in a broken world.

Altostratus - A WOR short story

Oh, to be unreachable...

After a decade of reconstruction Flammin had gone through to become as powerful as those who destroyed her home, the Relic Queen Nike takes the former living paintbrush to complete the final stages of her training: flying. For a small moment, Flammin had an epiphany of Nike, the divine living trident and mentor who bonded with her throughout the rigors of her transformation into what she is now.
